Product Description
The relay senses the Earth leakage current for any equipments like L. T. Panels, Switch boards, Generators, Transformers, Motors etc. These Leakage current if continues can cause insulation breakdown resulting Earth fault, which results in to loss of life or damage to equipment. The PROTIME Earth leakage relay senses leakage current through CBCT & energies relay when current goes out of the range selected on the dip switches. The Relays are provided with user settable (0-10 Sec) time delay. The CBCT is connected externally with the Busbar or cable carrying load current passed through it. The Relay has facility to show fault current indication on pressing STATUS Button. Thus this feature helps user to identify the point of fault & find out the value of fault current passing through it.
Adjustable Sensitivity and Trip TimeThe ELR96-1C relay offers selectable earth leakage sensitivity between 1A and 10A, along with front-panel trip time adjustment from 0.1 to 1 second. This flexibility allows users to tailor protection levels according to specific installation needs, enhancing both safety and operational continuity in sensitive settings.
Easy Installation and OperationWith options for flush or panel mounting and screw-type rear terminals, installation is straightforward. The relay is designed for user-friendly operation, offering clear LED indicators for both trip and healthy states, as well as manual or automatic reset to suit different application preferences.
Reliable Performance and ComplianceBuilt to comply with IS/IEC 60255, the relay features high insulation resistance, durable polycarbonate housing, and robust SPDT silver alloy contacts. It ensures consistent performance in demanding environments with operating temperatures from -10C to +50C and humidity up to 95% non-condensing.
