Product Description

The N22 series Current relays monitors the current flowing through the circuit through CT or direct up to 5A / 1A. The secondary of C. T is connected to relay signal input. When current signal goes out of the range selected on the dial , the relay status will change . The relays are provided with time delays . The N22 relay has two selectable setting range for tripping. Also relay has wide auxiliary power supply range from 90 to 270V AC/DC. The Current relays are also provided with combined protection of Under & Over Current both settable separately.

Robust Voltage Protection for Single Phase Systems

The N22-CR2 relay offers comprehensive under-voltage and over-voltage protection, ensuring your devices remain safe from electrical anomalies. Its adjustable thresholds make it adaptable for diverse operational needs and environments, while the phase monitoring feature enhances safety by preventing damage due to phase loss or instability.

Effortless Installation and Operation

With its compact form and convenient DIN rail mounting configuration, the N22-CR2 is easy to integrate into existing control panels. Clear LED indicators for relay and fault states, along with both automatic and manual reset options, make operation straightforward and maintenance hassle-free for users.

FAQ's of Single Phase Current Relays Combine UV - OV N22-CR2:

Q: How do I install the N22-CR2 relay on a DIN rail?

A: The N22-CR2 relay features a DIN rail mount design that allows quick and secure installation. Simply snap the relay onto the DIN rail in your control panel, ensuring proper alignment of the screw terminals to connect line (L) and neutral (N) wires. Follow wiring standards to maximize safety and performance.

Q: What does phase monitoring mean and how does it benefit my system?

A: Phase monitoring detects abnormalities in the voltage phase, such as phase loss, which can harm connected equipment. The N22-CR2 relay's phase monitoring protects systems by triggering timely disconnections to prevent equipment from operating under unsafe conditions.

Q: When should I use the manual versus automatic reset mode?

A: Manual reset is useful after troubleshooting or maintenance, letting you inspect conditions before restoring power. Automatic reset is convenient for unattended or remote installations, where quick, automatic return to normal operation after a voltage abnormality is desirable.

Q: Where is the N22-CR2 relay most commonly used?

A: This relay is widely used in residential, commercial, and light industrial setups to protect single-phase appliances such as air conditioners, refrigeration units, and sensitive electronic equipment against harmful voltage fluctuations.

Q: What is the process for adjusting the under-voltage and over-voltage thresholds?

A: Adjust the thresholds by turning the respective dials on the device to your desired voltage settings within the specified ranges: 150V~210V AC for under-voltage and 230V~280V AC for over-voltage. Ensure the relay is powered off when making adjustments for optimal safety.

Q: How does the LED indication help in device monitoring?

A: The LED provides immediate visual feedback on the relay's status: 'Relay ON' indicates normal operation, while the 'Fault Indication' alerts you to abnormal voltage or phase issues, enabling quick response and minimizing downtime.
