Product Description

The N22 series Current relays monitors the current flowing through the circuit through CT or direct up to 5A / 1A. The secondary of C. T is connected to relay signal input. When current signal goes out of the range selected on the dial , the relay status will change . The relays are provided with time delays . The N22 relay has two selectable setting range for tripping. Also relay has wide auxiliary power supply range from 90 to 270V AC/DC. The Current relays are also provided with combined protection of Under & Over Current both settable separately.

Flexible Current Monitoring for Industrial Needs

The N22-CR current relay is engineered for sensitive current detection in single phase circuits, suitable for a wide variety of industrial processes. Its adjustable current setting and operate time allow users to tailor protection according to specific equipment or load requirements, ensuring consistent and efficient operation.

User-Friendly Interface and Safety Features

Equipped with intuitive screw terminals, LED status indication, and a manual/automatic reset selector, the relay facilitates seamless installation, operation, and maintenance. The flame-retardant ABS enclosure, robust insulation, and high mechanical life enhance safety and long-term reliability in demanding work environments.

FAQ's of Single Phase Current Relays N22-CR:

Q: How do I install the N22-CR Single Phase Current Relay on a DIN rail?

A: Installation is straightforward; simply clip the relay onto any standard DIN rail inside your control panel. Ensure supply terminals L and N are connected properly, and complete all wiring using the screw terminals as indicated in the manual.

Q: What benefit does the adjustable current setting range provide?

A: The adjustable current setting (1A to 20A) allows users to fine-tune the relay's sensitivity to overcurrent or underload conditions, ensuring optimal protection for a range of industrial machines and electrical circuits.

Q: When should I use the manual reset versus the automatic reset option?

A: The manual reset is ideal when you want to review and address the fault before re-energizing the circuit, whereas the automatic reset is preferred for unattended installations where brief interruptions are quickly resolved without human intervention.

Q: Where is the LED status indication located and what does it show?

A: The LED indicator is located on the front of the relay. It provides clear visual feedback on the relay's operational status, allowing users to quickly determine if the relay is energized or in fault condition.

Q: What process does the relay use to protect equipment from overcurrent or underload?

A: The relay continuously monitors the current. When the detected value surpasses the preset threshold or drops below the underload limit, the relay activates, isolating the circuit to prevent equipment damage or operational hazards.

Q: Can the relay be used in harsh industrial environments?

A: Yes, its ABS flame-retardant enclosure, high insulation resistance, and wide operating temperature range (-10C to +55C) make the N22-CR suitable for demanding and variable industrial settings.
